Fantom Cooling finished a whole house fan upgrade for me here in Fort Collins. The old one was probably installed in the 70s and sounded like a jet engine; seriously, could not have it on and watch TV at the same time or it felt like I was living in an airplane hangar! The new QuietCool system is super quiet, just a whisper in the background, and very efficient! It cools the house quickly when I turn it on in the evening and then keeps pulling in the cool air throughout the night. Crazy that I'm already using it this early in the year, but I'm so happy to have this, since I don't have AC. The estimate took about 15 minutes and the quote was less than pretty much any other home improvement project I've tackled. The installation was scheduled for the next week and took about 3 hours--old fan out, new one in, they brought in their own drywaller to patch the resized opening. Happy to have found an awesome whole house fan installer here in Fort Collins to help me out before summer really heats up!

The Fantom experts installed a QuietCool in my 5k square foot home several years ago in Windsor and it saved me a TON on electricity expenses. I turned it on at night when the outside air was cool and I rarely had to run my AC during the day. I installed roof mounted turbine vents on a prior house in Aurora just to keep the attic cooler but it didn’t cool the house. This system is well designed to take advantage of existing attic vents so there is no need to put anything on the roof.

We had a whole house fan installed last year, and we honestly love it. The installation process was quick and easy, which made the whole experience stress-free from the start. The price point felt very reasonable for the value you get, especially considering how much we use it.
The biggest difference we’ve noticed is with our AC bill. It has definitely gone down since installing the fan. On cooler evenings, we can just run the fan instead of the AC, and it cools the house down so efficiently. Ours is located on the second floor, and all we have to do is open a window or two and it cools everything down quickly.
Overall, it’s been a great investment for our home, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering one.

Jordan did a fantastic job installing our QuietCool whole house fan! He was responsive, efficient, and got everything done quickly.
The impact has been incredible — our house stays cool without the AC until well into the afternoon, while our neighbors’ units are already running for hours. Our electric bill has dropped significantly. I wish I had known about whole house fans years ago! They not only pull in cool outside air during the coolest part of the evening/morning, but they also push the hot stagnant air out of your attic, thereby increasing efficiency. The fan is indeed quiet! For Northern Colorado and Wyoming they just make sense.
